David Brueck Sr. - May 6, 2007 David Brueck, Holstein, Iowa enlightened us on the many religions of the Middle East.

Gene Lindgren proudly displays our new banner which she created, a beautiful representation of our congregational identity.

Karen Swinger and Ginger Walker provided musical talent and greater enjoyment to our service on April 1st.

Linda Tabor, Professor of History at Wayne State College, spoke on modern slavery at our service on April 1, 2007.

Dr. Mary Sawyer, Professor of Religion at Iowa State University and African-American Studies scholar, spoke to us on "A Kingian Assessment of America Today." Dr. Sawyer is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Ames.

We enjoyed a Christmas Potluck and service, with lots of good food, and fellowship, and an inspiring message by Julie Baker on serving others.

Laurence Fennema, member of Northlake UU Church, Kirkland, Washington, honered us by leading two Sunday services during his visit to Storm Lake. Cheers and best wishes Laurence!

Dr. Hatem el-Hag Ali represents the Islamic Resource Center of Rochester, MN. He accepted our invitation to visit our congregation. Dr. Ali spoke on "Islam in America: Confronting Stereotypes and Bridging Religious Differences" to Buena Vista University students and members of the Storm Lake community.
